Salted Paper Print Workshop

Salted Paper Print Workshop

$1,250.00Price

Introduction to making digital negatives and Salted Paper Prints.

William Henry Fox Talbot's frustration at being unable to make beautiful drawings with his camera obscura on his honeymoon sent him on a path of research and discovery with light sensitive silver salts. His work lead to a variety of formulations using the sensitive salts of sodium citrate and sodium chloride. In this workshop you will learn to hand-coat your own sensitized emulsion on paper and prepare an appropriate digital negative optimized for these formulas.

Salted Paper Print is available only as a 2-Day workshop due to the time needed to coat the papers and prepare the negatives.
